Charleston, South Carolina is a wonderful example of the close knit communities, known as the traditional neighborhood developments (TND) of the south. The houses in these communities are designed with porches, close to the road with a distinct color schemes and authorities promote the idea of each house fencing their property.

An exploration into the house of Mike and Emily Sheehan that was renovated using metals in several places, with the help of architect Glenn Nees. One of the highlights of Sheehan's home is the diamond-plate steel panels under the kitchen bar countertop made up of a unique metal.
