Pennsylvania native Russell Henry fashions most of his folk art ceramic objects out of clay he personally digs out of the banks of Hay Creek near his farm. The 84-year-old potter's plates and mugs sell for as much as $300 per piece at auction.

Article Abstract:

Dough boxes were used by farm wives to make large quantities of bread to feed the family and all the farm hands. They were usually made of pine; some had legs, others were just boxes. Today they could be used as toy boxes.
