Randy Harelson, the owner of the Gourd Garden, provides some tips for the Florida gardeners on growing gardens, keeping it pest free and maintaining the soil fertility.

A gardening life: Polly Hill

Polly Hill began planting trees and shrubs on Barnard's Inn Farm in West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard. This garden comprises 20-odd acres of meadows and fields divided, which are framed by plantings of trees and shrubs and has maturity, beauty and diversity.
