Cobra lily: a striking Western native

Article Abstract:

The Cobra lily or carnivorous California pitcher plant is discussed. Native to the western part of the country, it is the sole plant species in its genus. In the wild, these lilies grown mainly in the mountain wetlands of northern California and southern Oregon.
