Dooryard gardens

Article Abstract:

Dooryard gardens were primarily created for the sheer appreciation of the beauty of flowers and plants. Dooryard gardens may be fenced to keep animals from trampling the plants as well as providing the shortest and most direct way to the front door.

A phlox family's Moss Pink is a 4 to 6 inches tall flower available in pink, red, white or blue color. It is generally found on the rocky banks and hillside in the full sun. Moss Pink requires slanting and well-drained soil.
