Doing battle with mice

Article Abstract:

A woman living in an 150-year-old farm house with her husband, describe a winter's discomfort when field mice move in to breed. After humane traps and snap traps proved futile, poison was finally used against the food spoilers. For the coming winter, a house cat living inside, is planned.
