Crepe murder

Article Abstract:

Pruning crepe myrtles is necessary but should be done correctly to avoid unsightly wounds. In removing a limb, gardeners should make a shallow cut below and saw down from the top to a point near the initial cut. This will result in a smooth-edged wound that will heal without requiring a dressing.
