Article Abstract:

Peonies are harder to grow in the middle and lower South because they need a cold winter to flourish. Some tips to successfully grow peonies in these areas are to plant them in partial shade, plant semidouble and early blooming varieties and when relocating a peony make sure to do it when the plant is dormant in the late fall.

Warm and welcoming drive

Article Abstract:

Andy and Carolyn Anderson redesigned the front of their home by adding a circular driveway made of colored concrete and brick expansion joints, three new steps, a low retaining wall and two new lampposts. The driveway provides easier access for guests and also provides a visual lift to the house.
