Article Abstract:

Calcium montmorillonite, the melliflous name of the mineral component of the Texas blacklands has some challenging properties. The subtropical climate in Texas has a tendency to form 'vertisols', a soil that annually dry and crack and forms deep crevasses that swallow surface debris.

Article Abstract:

The time between late August and early October experience nitrogen enriched rains fall from the ionized atmosphere in Austin, Texas. Some plants that take their own time accepting the abrupt climate shift and others that grow in response to the rain are detailed.

Crinum is a big lily like amaryllids, which produces huge, deep-rooted bulbs that make them famously invulnerable to abuse. The hybridization work done on all sorts of subtropical plants, especially bulbs like caladiums, amaryllis, and crinums are discussed.
