Article Abstract:

A description is presented of the bedroom created for the daughters of Gorham's Bluff, Alabama residents, Meg and Oscar Brock. Atlanta interior designer Carter Kay helped decorate the room, and Chattanooga artist Ashley Ford created a border from the nursery rhyme, "Itsy, bitsy spider."

Bringing scale to a room

Article Abstract:

A sense of scale can be achieved in a large room with amply sized furnishings and accessories. Although spacious rooms are attractive, they are not easy to decorate. Carefully chosen large furniture and accessories, however, will fill the space while adding relaxed warmth to a big room.

Lake Forest

Article Abstract:

The Lake Forest House features a formal exterior and a relaxing indoor atmosphere. Wooden furniture complements the old plaster look of the dining room walls while stucco and tile make up the exterior.
