Article Abstract:

'Standing Room Only: The Scripps 60th Ceramic Annual' for ceramics was exhibited at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery of Scripps College in Claremont, California. This is a national exhibition Paul Soldner, the director, shaped and made famous during his tenure as professor of ceramics at Scripps from 1969 to 1991.

Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology

Article Abstract:

The William R. Wright bequest of Native American objects, along with the Hemenway and Claflin collections, has brought Harvard University's Peabody Museum up to date. Almost half of the collected objects were made by North American native peoples from the 17th century to current times.
