An overview is presented of what makes Washington DC a popular family destination for a Fourth of July celebration. Atttractions include characters dressed in historical costume, an Independence Day parade, a mass picnic on the grass of The National Mall, and an evening concert which is followed by a traditional fireworks display.

The nation's oldest national park - and one of its most popular - becomes a wonderland in winter

Article Abstract:

A visit to the Yellowstone National PArk in winter is presented. Particular attention is given to wild life descriptions, to the Yellowstone Lake, the Lewis River Canyon and the Old Faithful Snow Lodge. Touristic information regarding lodging and transportation is also given.

Legacy of the Games

Article Abstract:

The Centennnial Olympic Park in Atlanta, GA is one of the most memorable and lasting legacy of the 1996 Summer Olympics. The park, which measures 21 acres, is the site where an unidentified man planted a bomb that killed two revelers during the Games.
