Moorcroft 1897-1997

Article Abstract:

The Moorcroft Pottery celebrates its 100 years of crafting art pottery. Essentially a family-owned enterprise, Moorcroft designs gained attention with the 'slip-trailing' method of design work which prevented colors from blending with one another.

Jelly moulds

Article Abstract:

Porcelain, copper, glass or pewter are used for making most jelly molds. The Victorian era was a time when many copper molds were produced. The Hofburg in Vienna, Austria, also created a large collection of copper molds.
