James Smircich suggests the use of armrests and a mandrel support, which relieves the stress and fatigue occurring from holding the bead mandrel in place for hours together. The instructions for the mandel support are based on a tool called a graphite paddle, and the way to make the armrests is discussed.

Forged hinged bracelet: shape silver wire to form this bracelet-no torch required

Article Abstract:

A way to a simple bracelet requiring no soldering or annealing, but sawing, filing, sanding, hammering, and polishing is required. This project uses forging-a technique that uses hammers to change the shape of the metal and only needs 1/5 skill level.
