The 1997 Broward Summer Cruise attracted some of the most elegant yachts in the US. Some of the noteworthy yachts which joined the event included the 86-ft. Lady Frances III, the 100-ft. Mi-Lee and the 90-ft. Sea Holly. Famous guests during the event included Walter Cronkite and Dallas Harris.
