The basics of airbrushing

Article Abstract:

Tips on what types of airbrushes and how to properly use them are presented to help scale modelers paint their scale planes. Two types of airbrushes are suggested which include the external mix and internal mix. These brushes when used with masks produce model airplanes with good paint finishing.

Cover fiberglass with monokote

Article Abstract:

Model airplanes with parts made of fiberglass should not be painted or covered in the same way as wood or metal parts. Fiberglass parts just need film covering to match the model airplane's trim-color scheme.

It is easier to spot and control R/C aircraft if some planning is taken when decorating the craft. The use of color and geometric shapes can aid significantly in perceiving the orientation of the plane.
