The US Postal Service on Dec 30, 1992, issued the 'Happy New Year' stamp that pictured a Rooster in commemoration of the Chinese Year of the Rooster. Bophuthatswana subsequently issued commemoratives depicting chickens. Other news of interest to stamp collectors is presented.
