Allen Langheinrich, a commercial paleontologist who turned his love of digging and fascination with fossils into one of the most remarkable career in geological science has uncovered thousands of eurypterid specimens from llion quarry in New York, a single greatest exposure of eurypterid fossils in the world. He wants to preserve this quarry for future generations to enjoy and study.

Beyond Burgess

Article Abstract:

Soft bodied fossils are famously found in Burgess Shale but unknown to many, these delicate specimens can also be found in the rugged terrain of Utah's Antimony Canyon. Utah also produces not only these fossils but also the Eldonia Ludwigi and the Alalcomenacus of cambricus.
