Legends of American music take center stage
Article Abstract:
An ethnically diverse group of early rock-and-roll, and rhythm and blues musicians are featured on the 29 cent postage stamps issued on Jun 16, 1993. The Legends of American Music series will run for several years, and will include musicians from other genres such as jazz, blues and popular music.

Classic Columbians reissued on a limited basis
Article Abstract:
The US Postal Service reissued stamps commemorating Christopher Columbus's voyages to the New World as souvenir sheets. The stamps were originally issued in 1893. The souvenir sheets will be issued jointly with Spain, Italy and Portugal.
