Israel releases stamps with transportation theme

Article Abstract:

Israel used buses as a vital mode of transportation in its early settlements. The three stamps issued Nov 27, 1994, depict a model T-Ford and two buses, the Leland Royal Tiger and the 1940's White Sulphur. A description of the history of bus companies in Israel is presented.

The Netherlands releases three new stamps

Article Abstract:

After five years, the Netherlands was liberated from the Germans and World War II was over. These events and the establishment of the United Nations are commemorated in the new stamps. The stamps are described.
