Environment-friendly steps for boaters to practice while using current motors are presented. This includes taking extra care when topping off fuel tanks to prevent gasoline spills. In case of spills, oil- and fuel-absorbent crystals and powders can be cast onto the water to absorb the molecules.

What's so super about supercharging?

Article Abstract:

Superchargers pump additional air and fuel into the combustion chamber to increase the horsepower of an engine. The acceleration is provided in the middle of the rpm range, so engine wear is less than that of conventional racing engines. Aftermarket kits can increase horsepower 20 to 40%.
