Chagall masterpiece adorns U.N. headquarters

Article Abstract:

The UN Postal Administration issued a stamp sheet in 1967 depicting a stained glass window designed by Marc Chagall. One stamp sold 3.5 million copies in 30 days. Some stamps on the sheet contain errors and rouletting instead of perforation.

EFOs in United Nations collecting

Article Abstract:

Some stamps issued by the United Nations contain flaws such as misspellings, dots, perforation errors, color irregularities and plate errors. Many of these stamps were issued in the 1960s from New York, NY, headquarters.
