Adding a three-position Fowler flap to a model airplane can improve its transition from landing-gear extension to full-flap position. The intermediate half-flap position is easily installed with the addition of a three-position control valve. Installation instructions are included.

The Fowler flap is a reproduction of a fighter plane mounted with a flap hanger and a flap peg in the wings. The flaps are controlled by an L-shaped arm called the drive arm. These flaps enable the plane to fly a downward angle.
