Article Abstract:

Paleontologist Kraig Derstler and his students dig for dinosaur bones on a far-flung Wyoming ranch which is privately owned by local resident Glenn Hanson. Despite fossil controversies, Derstler's group continues to dig and try to establish dinosaur relationships based on the finds.

Sapphire surprise

Article Abstract:

Two large sapphires were discovered in the Old Pressley Sapphire Mine in Haywood County, NC. A 1,035 carat stone was found in 1987 and another large sapphire turned up in 1991. The mine operates mostly as a tourist attraction.
