A 1990's tour throught the Pony Express route

Article Abstract:

The Pony Express lasted for only 18 months but some of the way stations have been developed as national memorials. Sites of historical importance along the Pony Express trail as well as a history of the service is provided. Stamps and other postal material honoring the service are described.

Canada Post honors roads and bridges

Article Abstract:

On the eve of the 20th World Road Congress, Canada issued a set of four stamps to honor road and bridge engineering and design. The stamp designs show the technical aspects of the bridges in the foreground, balanced by the scenic aspects of their locations.

Researching the actual birthday of the U.S. Post Office

Article Abstract:

A recounting of the history of the US prior to the signing of the Constitution is presented establishing that there was a US before the Constitution was signed. First mention of a post office is May 29, 1775 while the constitutions was adopted in 1787.
