Roebling, Mary Gindhart

Mary G. Roebling died on Oct. 25, 1994 at her home in Trenton, NJ. She was the first woman to head a major US bank, Trenton Trust Co, assuming a seat in the board of directors after the death of her husband. She was elected president in 1937, a post she retained until 1972.
