Carsey began as a tour guide with NBC Studios in 1966 and rose to Senior VP at ABC. In 1980 she started her own firm, which became Carsey-Werner Co in 1981. Their first hit, 'The Cosby Show,' became the most-watched sitcom of all time. Other hits include 'Roseanne,' 'Cybill,' and 'Grace Under Fire.'
