The firm's success is attributed to Bezos use of electronic retailing and making the firm a virtual community, where people can hang out.

Joe Weider took up bodybuilding in his teens for self-defense against the bigger kids in his neighborhood. He founded the Weider Publications which publishes "Flex," "Shape" and "Men's Fitness." He and his brother Ben formed the International Federation of Body Builders in Montreal, Canada in 1946.
