Armond White, a former chairman of the prestigious New York Film Critics Circle, began his career as a reviewer for the Brooklyn, New York based 'City Sun' in the mid-1980s and then moved to the New York Press, where he served as the chief film critic. White serves as chief curator for an annual music-video program at the Film Society of Lincoln Center, in New York City and also holds memberships in the New York Film Critics Circle and the National Society of Film Critics.

Nooyi was the chief architect behind PepsiCo's US$3.3 billion purchase of the Seagram Co.'s Tropicana juices in 1998 and its US$13.5 billion acquisition of Quaker Oats in 2001, key mergers that diversified the company's product portfolio in the U.S. and increased its presence overseas.
