Article Abstract:

A two-year longitudinal study was conducted on 1,206 Japanese children to investigate the predictive abilities of a caries activity test. Caries activity tests could predict the caries risk of 3.5-year-old children, and this risk could be reduced by early weaning, less sucrose intake and tooth brushing.
