The working wounded

Article Abstract:

Medical professionals often misdiagnose sufferers of myalgic encephalomyelitis because of the variety of symptoms patients present. Most ME sufferers experience lethargy and aching muscles, although memory loss, breathing problems and sleeplessness have also been reported. A viral infection and subsequent immune system problems may be the key to ME. The immune system cannot kill all infected cells, and remains active, causing side effects in the sufferer.
