Signs of the times

Article Abstract:

Managing change in the UK's National Health Service needs to be continually reviewed, otherwise ideas are simply recycled. It is essential that care of patients is at the centre of organisational change and that health care professionals are allowed to influence how services are organised. Too often, staff feel undervalued and are unclear about how decisions are made. This stems from a fundamental fault with the way that changes are evaluated.

They need to develope strategies to address the social and environmental causes of ill health.
