Risk screening for exposure to groundwater pollution in a wastewater irrigation district of the Mexico City region
Article Abstract:
Research in the health risk when using wastewater from Mexico City for irrigation shows pathogen interventions are needed. Diarrheal disease, skin irritation, cholera, and young children's exposure to methemoglobinemia have elevated risk in the irrigation district studied.

Risk of childhood cancer and adult lung cancer after childhood exposure to passive smoke: a meta-analysis
Article Abstract:
The authors present research regarding the risk of cancer development following exposure to passive smoke in children and for lung cancer in adults. Results do not appear to provide clear evidence of increased risk.
