Epidemiological research has highlighted both physical activity and dietary factors as having an impact on frailty and specific diseases in older people. Both poor nutrition and lack of exercise may be risk factors for many debilitating conditions.

Protein and amino acid requirements in the elderly

Article Abstract:

Research suggesting estimates of amino acid and protein needs for healthy elderly people is presented. It appears that the protein needs of elderly people are no lower than those of younger people.
