Article Abstract:
Most incontinence sufferers are unwilling and unable to talk about their problems, although some 3% of the British population suffers from regular urinary incontinence. In 1994, St Martin's Hospital, Bath, established a pelvic floor group supported by its continence promotion unit. The self-help group is designed to encourage incontinence sufferers to discuss their problems and tomotivate them to continue with regular pelvic floor exercises.
