On duty

Article Abstract:

Nurses Suzanne Adamson and Eilish Harris are passionate believers in reflexology and feel that it should become an established part of health care. Adamson, a part-time health visitor, is also a qualified reflex zone therapist and one of just three qualified infant massage instructors in England. Harris, who has studied reflexology for the past 12 years, admits that she relies on intuition whereas Adamson is more rational. Nevertheless the two have collaborated on a book and both stress the need for reflexologists to undergo comprehensive training and be properly accredited.
