The Borough of Hackney, London, England, has drawn up a strategy to address long-term sustainability issues. The policy represents a response to Agenda 21 which world leaders at the 1992 Earth Summit compiled to address environmental concerns. Summit representatives called upon local authorities to compile their own Local Agenda 21. Hackney's sustainable development policy encompasses areas including transport, waste, and health, and includes opposition to genetic modifications to food, encouragement of local food production and support for community participation in healthcare decisions.

Holidaying in Paris, France, in August can be preferable to the traditional April holiday since the city is quieter, there is less traffic and the queues to see the main attractions can be shorter. Paris has many attractions and the number is continually growing, giving the frequent visitor new sights to see every time. The city's many original and impressive sights include the glass pyramid at the Louvre, the Opera de la Bastille and the Grand Arch at La Defense.

The physical and psychological benefits of breast augmentation out weight the physical risks for most women, although patients must be informed about all the risks and complications which may occur during breast enlargement surgery. Implants may leak, crack or alter the sensation associated with the breast. One of the most complicated risks is capsular contracture which is an immune response to a foreign body.
