Colorectal cancer: a nurse put a patient perspective

Article Abstract:

The double stress of caring for an elderly relative and coping with a diagnosis of colorectal cancer proved to be a turning point in the live of a community nurse, who had to learn to be on the receiving end of nursing care. Nursing an ill mother made it imperative to keep her calm without upsetting her will ensuring the carer received the appropriate medical attention.
