Clinical trials in sub-Saharan Africa and established standards of care
Article Abstract:
Studies were conducted to ensure whether trial conducted in sub-Saharan Africa met care-consistent standards with best clinical standards for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) treatment, tuberculosis treatment and malaria prevention. It was found that adherence levels varied between diseases and local committees have taken note of these findings.
