Article Abstract:
The types of substances that are found in the body fluids like organisms, cytokines, enzymes, and hormones are studied as predictors of preterm birth and the fluids in which they are found and the issues related to the timing are discussed. A test for these substances followed by an appropriate intervention leads to a reduction in preterm birth.
