Accidental deaths drop

Article Abstract:

The Research and Statistical Services Department of National Safety Council reports in a recent survey that the rate of accidental work related deaths dropped by 5% in year 2003 compared to 2002. Meanwhile accidental death rate grew in 2003 for the 65 u74 year old age group. It further states that deaths in motor vehicle accidents have increased by 5% in 2003.

Time for employers to take the lead in safe driving effort

Article Abstract:

It is identified by the National Safety Council that motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of injury death in America. A few ideas that help in bringing focus on the behaviors that cause crashes and to bringing about driver behavior changes are suggested.

Resolution for safety in the new year

Article Abstract:

The 2004 edition of oinjury Factso released by the National Safety Council shows a decline in deaths due to accidents and injuries at the workplace over the last ten years. It is now time to resolve to continue the good work in the year 2005.
