Parents in the US and other countries do not vaccinate their children due to fear of autism, asthma and multiple sclerosis. The government in various countries has stepped in and in the US and the UK many non-profit organizations are creating vaccine awareness in order to encourage parents to get their children vaccinated.

Therapeutic dendritic-cell vaccine for chronic HIV-1 infection

Article Abstract:

Various aspects of a preliminary investigation of the efficacy of a therapeutic dendritic cell (DC)-based vaccine HIV-1 are presented. The results suggested that inactivated completely virus-pulsed DC vaccines could be a promising strategy for treating people with chronic HIV-1 infection.
