A randomized trial of exemestane after two to three years of tamoxifen therapy in postmenopausal women with primary breast cancer

Article Abstract:

A double-blind, randomized trial to test whether, after two to three years of tamoxifen therapy, switching to exemestane was more effective than continuing tamoxifen therapy for the remainder of the five years of treatment. The results showed improved disease-free survival as compared with standard treatment.

Article Abstract:

The principles needed for the improved understanding of the pathophysiology of rheumatoid arthritis are presented. The clinical application of these principles, which has resulted in a marked improvement in clinical outcomes, is discussed.
