Baltimore, MD-based Virco has provided physicians a phenotype HIV resistance test (Antiviorgram) which aids the physician in a choice of therapies. According to findings presented at the 4th International Workshop on HIV Drug Resistance and Treatment Strategies in Spain, patients whose physicians use this method received more active drugs and responded significantly better than those who did not.
