When NATO went to war

Article Abstract:

Since their creation, the multinational forces of NATO had not been involved in a major military operation until 1995. In the fall of that year NATO air and artillery strikes against the Bosnian Serbs raised the siege of Sarajevo and other safe havens and paved the way for peace in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

They went to war

Article Abstract:

The experience of four people in Operation Desert Storm is recounted. Of the four, one, a 21-year-old American African marine was killed. Another soldier was a 66-year-old medical doctor and another was a young woman whose father had also seen combat years before.
