America's greatest Depression-era photographer, Walker Evans blazed a trail well ahead of his time. Capturing the beauty of rustic americana, he shaped the national perspective and created a nw definition of the word beauty. Honored in an Metropolitan Museum of Art retrospective and the subject of an upcoming documentary, he continues to capture the imagination as well as capture the eye.
