Inventors Johann Gutenberg, Louis Daguerre, Alexander Graham Bell, Guglielmo Marconi and Vinton Cerf can be said to be the fathers of the information revolution. Their imagination resulted in the invention of printing, photography, radio, the telephone and the Internet, all of which facilitate the exchange of ideas regardless of distance.
