Article Abstract:

A woman vacationing in Boracay, Philippines, was carried 100 miles away from shore. For three days, she manged to survive without food or water, braving storms and sharks with only a capsized boat to keep her afloat. She was finally rescued by the crew of the ship F-V Alyss and brought to Manila.

Swept beneath a dam

Article Abstract:

Nick Lomangino recounts his harrowing ordeal when he was swept beneath the strong currents of a dam. Despite the injuries he incurred and amid the awe of people who hear about his survival, he is thankful that he was given another chance to live and expects to give more of his life to God.
