Will Rogers: the cowboy philosopher

Article Abstract:

Rogers began his cowboy act at the 1904 World's Fair and soon became a big hit, mixing cowboy stunts with humor and quips that earned him the nickname 'The Cowboy Philosopher.' He also became a columnist and had a radio show that lightened the lives of many during the Great Depression.
