The prediction by George Orwell that information technology will restrict freedom is one that may be rebuked as the use of technology has increased and improved. There are advantages and disadvantages of the technology but restricted freedom is not one of them.

Wrong way to help the homeless

Article Abstract:

Most homeless people remain in that state because they refuse to give up the benefits given to them by social welfare programs. Thus, homelessness can not be stemmed by adding or improving social welfare benefits.
